Only foals in the eventing auction this year
Dutch Eventing Stables is proud to present the 2021 eventing foal collection. With three champions with the best eventing genes from the Netherlands and Belgium! Are you looking for eventing success in sport and breeding? Then this is your chance! The collection will be live on October 1!
This year, only the best foals are eligible for the eventing auction through ET Auction. Including the three champions of the recent National Foal Inspection: Vive le JW (Opium van de Moerhoeve x Taran de la Pomme), Rubble (Moreno Grove x Guidam), Kasanova’s Lady Dutch ES (Kasanova de la Pomme x Nabab de Reve).
No young horses
No young horses in the auction this year, paradoxically because there is a lot of demand for good eventing horses. Initiator René van der Leest: “People lose the good horses so easily, we don’t need an auction for that at the moment. Because we only want to have quality, we have decided to give only the best foals a chance.”
“People tell me that after the first and second meetings in the Dutch Eventing Young Horse Trials, they edited the live streams one after the other, on which the horse was sold unseen. And immediately resold to China. That’s how it goes. Halfway through the competition, some of the horses have already changed owners and riders.”
“We think it is positive that we can contribute to that development. We provide the live streams that are watched very well, also very internationally. We set up the competition, a beautiful stage, people appreciate that. Good horses that prove themselves in practice are in high demand. There is therefore no need for a separate auction for eventing horses. This positive development also gives an impulse to targeted eventing breeding because there appears to be sales. This means that in October we will only be auctioning foals. And the best, because we want to offer quality.”
