Next Level Leipheimer Dutch ES
Leipheimer van 't Verahof x 3 Times A Lady
He is only four years old but what a promise Next Level Leipheimer Dutch ES is! A very complete, long lined and athletically built stallion. With 70% Thoroughbred but impressively sober in his head. He jumps fantastic with scope and quick reflexes. And he has been given an enormously spacious canter, with which he can make many meters in the terrain in an easy, natural way. Moreover, Next Level Leipheimer Dutch ES will certainly add size, he is already almost 1m70 himself.
Next Level Leipheimer Dutch ES has now gained its first experience in the eventing area. It was impressive the way he handled the obstacles with great efficiency, with natural jumping manners, without ever having been in the terrain. He is now being prepared for the four-year competition of the Dutch Eventing Young Horse Trials.
AES jury member Kees van den Oetelaar: ‘Next Level Leipheimer is a large and generous blood horse with a lot of youth. A nice horse that can make a very good jump, a young horse that still needs some time, but I have every confidence in him.”
Sire is Leipheimer van het Verahof, the Vigo d’Arsouilles out of the great Thoroughbred mare Southern Queen who competes internationally at 4* level with Karin Donckers. Already entered the Olympic qualification for Tokyo as an 8-year-old! As world champion, sire Vigo d’Arsouilles needs little explanation, but his dam is at least as successful: Southern Queen is at the origin of a very successful jumping and eventing line. Leipheimer’s full brother Fletcha van’t Verahof finished sixth at the WEG 2014 in Caen with Karin Donckers after they had previously also become Belgian champion in 2013. Another full brother, Extebaria van ‘t Verahof, also competed at international three-star level under Karin Donckers . Heras van ‘t Verahof (by Carabas van de Wateringhoeve) jumped 1m60.
Mother is the 19-year-old 2* eventing mare 3 Times A Lady, a beautiful, large, modern mare by Thoroughbred Roven who jumped 1m40 herself from the Faram x Zeolite mare line of which many children have competed at a very appealing level. . 3 Times A Lady was always on time at competitions with her very fine, big canter. She ran a Z-dressage test without any problems with beautiful results and she showed herself as a very fine jumping horse.
On the recommendation of the then national coach Martin Lips, the Dutch Eventing Stables purchased this mare, after which she had a very successful sporting period with Angela Kollee as the best performing combination of the Dutch team at the European Junior Championships. After her sport career, 3 Times A Lady has been used for breeding with four offspring now.
